Violent - Featuring Linds Belchior

Welcome to 'Violent,' inspired by the vulnerability and anger that can come after a bad connection with someone, a friendship, relationship or otherwise. The piece follows the story of a person scorned, plotting their theoretical revenge with the help of their best accomplice, a bloody rubber ducky. Through this piece, I explore the darker emotions that can come after betrayal, and the ways in which we try to cope with these feelings. I was inspired by the song 'Violent' by Carolesdaughter, which I found really captured the feelings of longing opposed by hurt and sadness.
